Two magpies for joy!

These cute magpies are hand-made from pure sheep wool using a process called needle felting, where wool is sculpted and shaped to create a desired design. 

They both have lavender seeds felted with the wool in their bellies and they were scented with organic lavender oil. If you prefer any other aroma you can always put a few drops of essential oil for everlasting preservation and as a fragrance to your room. Oil doesn't stain the wool so they are very useful and not just decorative. 

The nylon thread is attached on their backs so they could be hanging on windows or just on the wall as a ornament. Their feet are made of fluffy wire and are carefully attached to the bodies.

Each magpie measures approx 18 cm from tip to tail. 

My sculptures are delicate pieces of art and are not intended to be a toy for children.
