Purple pod, needle felted fish mobile,

A gorgeous hanging mobile consisting of 4 needle felted fish and matching felted balls, fastened with nylon strings on a willow branch wreath. These fish are felted with different shades of pink, lilac and purple wool.
A delightful addition to any room.

They are hand-made from pure sheep wool using a technique called needle felting, where wool is sculpted and shaped to create a desired design. Also they all have lavender seeds felted in their bellies and each of them was scented with organic lavender oil. You can always put a few drops of essential oil for everlasting preservation and as a fragrance to your room. 
Oil doesn't stain the wool so they are very useful and not just decorative.

The mobile measures 40 cm from the ring to the lowest fish and suspended from 20 cm diameter natural handwoven willow wreath. 
Each fish measures approx 10 cm from tip to tail. 
The total high of the mobile, from the wood frame to the fish is 70 cm.

Intended for use as a sculptural decoration only, not intended as a toy.
